Coffee Country & Hidden Waterfall
Riverside dining, a small-batch coffee tasting, and a waterfall most maps don't mark.
A 4am pickup, a climb to 7,400 feet, and a sunrise that makes the early start feel like a gift. Then we descend through coffee country for a cupping with a third-generation farmer.
This is the one. If you do one tour with us, do this one. We pick you up at 4am โ yes, really โ drive up the Blue Mountains in the dark, and arrive at our viewpoint just before first light. The kind of sunrise that makes people stop talking. Most days you'll see the curve of the earth, mist below, Kingston waking up in the distance.
After sunrise we head back down to a working coffee estate in the foothills, where a third-generation farmer walks you through the harvest, processing, and roasting. There's a proper cupping (think wine tasting, but for coffee) where you'll taste four single-origin lots side by side and pick your favourite. We end with a full breakfast at a tin-roof cabin โ ackee and saltfish, fresh-pressed coffee, fruit from the property.
We meet you in the lobby with coffee in hand. Comfortable AC vehicle, max 8 guests.
Short walk to the viewing area. Hot drinks served. Guide tells you the history of the range.
About 25 minutes of pure light. Photos are encouraged but most guests just stand still.
Scenic drive through Newcastle and Irish Town. Lots of photo stops along the way.
Meet the farmer. Walk the rows. Watch processing. Cup four single-origin coffees.
Ackee & saltfish, festival, fried plantain, fresh fruit, more coffee than you'll need.
Back in Kingston by early afternoon. You'll want a nap. You'll also want to do this again.
This tour runs Saturday and Sunday only. Weather is occasionally a factor โ if visibility is poor, we'll reschedule to the next available date at no charge. We don't proceed if it's actively raining at the viewpoint, because there's nothing to see. Honesty matters.
This is not a hike. There's a short walk from the parking area to the viewing platform (about 8 minutes, paved). If you have mobility concerns, message us first and we'll work it out.
"I've been to Jamaica four times. This tour was the single best thing I've ever done on the island. The sunrise alone is worth the 4am wakeup. Then the coffee farm โ incredible."โ Sarah K., Boston ยท April 2026
